Round 5 of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Championship took place at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire on the 8th and 9th August. Having completed many laps at this circuit in various machinery over the years, Jacques was feeling confident of a strong result at his home circuit. Conditions were again very warm, with temperatures in the 30's.
Round 4 of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Championship took place at the iconic Brands Hatch GP circuit on 11th and 12th July. Heat wave conditions and a full grid of 37 cars brought a lot of pre-race excitement, especially as four entries had come all the way from California for a piece of the action.
Round 3 of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Championship took place at the picturesque Cadwell Park Circuit in Lincolnshire on the 13th and 14th June. This was Jacques’ first time in a single seater at the notoriously technical and challenging circuit, widely known as the “mini Nurburgring”. 19 cars took to the track, a relatively small grid but one full of top class drivers.
Jensen Race Team headed to Leistershire’s Donington Park for round 2 of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Championship hoping for a clean run and some valuable seat time for Jacques.
Jensen Race Team headed to Norfolk for Round 1 of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford Championship, where Jacques was hoping for strong results and plenty of championship points to kick off the season. The number 52 Merlyn Mk20a was looking great in the sunshine following many hours of workshop preparation over the winter.
Jensen Race Team's first single seater race weekend took place at the final round of the HSCC Historic Formula Ford championship on 11th and 12th October 2025. This was Jacques debut race weekend in HFF, and it was always going to be tough, with a full grid of 32 cars competing at the Silverstone National circuit.
