These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement governing the sale and distribution of automotive and motorsport components by Jensen Race Team Limited (Company No. 16959270). By executing a transaction on the digital platform, the Customer explicitly agrees to be bound by these provisions. The Company operates exclusively as an online entity. All contractual agreements are concluded in the English language and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. An order placed by the Customer constitutes an offer to purchase; a legally binding contract is formed only upon the issuance of a formal dispatch confirmation by the Company.
In compliance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA), all financial figures displayed on the digital platform are accurate and transparent. Jensen Race Team Limited is not currently registered for Value Added Tax (VAT); therefore, VAT is not applied to or included in the displayed prices.
The total headline price presented to the Customer encompasses all mandatory financial obligations for the goods. Standard and expedited delivery charges are explicitly defined in a calculation matrix prior to the Customer initiating the checkout process, classifying specialized logistical options strictly as optional extras.
The Company enforces a policy of absolute zero-tolerance regarding the publication of fake, heavily incentivized, or fundamentally misleading consumer reviews, ensuring strict adherence to the DMCCA 2024 prohibitions. The Company actively deploys algorithmic risk assessments and manual verification protocols to guarantee that published testimonials accurately reflect authentic consumer experiences. Any consumer reviews originating from promotional campaigns or discount incentives shall be prominently designated as such to prevent consumer deception.
Statutory Warning
A substantial proportion of the components distributed by Jensen Race Team Limited are engineered exclusively for motorsport, closed-circuit racing, or dedicated off-road applications.
Under the provisions of Section 75 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, it constitutes a criminal offence to supply, alter, or deploy a motor vehicle in an unroadworthy condition. This statutory definition includes any mechanical modifications that breach federal emissions standards or compromise structural safety regulations.
Products designed to alter, bypass, or eliminate original equipment manufacturer (OEM) emissions control systems (including, but not limited to, catalytic converter deletes and DPF/EGR modifications) are classified strictly for off-road and motorsport deployment. The installation of these specific components on vehicles operated on public highways within the United Kingdom is a direct contravention of the law.
By executing the purchase of these restricted components, the Customer explicitly acknowledges their restricted legal status. The Customer accepts absolute and sole responsibility for ensuring their vehicle complies with all applicable local and national laws. The Customer formally agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jensen Race Team Limited from any civil claims, criminal fines, MOT inspection failures, property damage, or third-party liabilities arising from the illegal deployment of these components on public thoroughfares.
Jensen Race Team Limited is strictly a retail distributor and does not provide installation services, mechanical tuning services, or definitive technical fitting advice.
Acknowledging the highly specialized, safety-critical, and high-stress nature of motorsport components, the Company mandates that all parts must be installed by a certified, professional automotive technician.
Any technical opinions or advice provided remotely by representatives of the Company prior to purchase are legally defined as indicative only and are rendered without the benefit of a physical vehicular inspection. The Company accepts zero liability for death, personal injury, property destruction, or catastrophic mechanical failure resulting from forced, misdirected, inappropriate, or unqualified installation attempts. Maximum financial liability for demonstrably defective goods is strictly limited to the replacement value of the product, subject only to overriding statutory consumer rights.
Mechanical modifications fundamentally alter vehicle dynamics. The Company accepts no liability for hardware incompatibilities that arise if the Customer's vehicle has been previously adapted, aggressively tuned, or altered from factory OEM specifications.
In the highly unlikely event of a commercial dispute that cannot be resolved through internal customer service protocols, the Company is legally obligated to engage in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). In accordance with the DMCCA 2024 (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Regulations effective April 6, 2026, the Company shall exclusively utilize the services of an ADR provider who holds full accreditation or explicit exemption under the prevailing UK statutory framework.
The Company shall not be held legally or financially liable for any failure to perform, or delay in the performance of, any of its contractual obligations caused by events outside its reasonable control (Force Majeure Event). This includes, but is not limited to, industrial action, postal strikes, natural disasters, severe weather events, global pandemics, or catastrophic disruptions to the international automotive supply chain. In such events, the Company's obligations are suspended for the duration of the disruption.
All digital content presented on jensenraceteam.co.uk—including but not limited to proprietary text, technical descriptions, automotive photography, logos, and site architecture—is the exclusive intellectual property of Jensen Race Team Limited. The unauthorized scraping, reproduction, or commercial distribution of this material without explicit written consent constitutes a direct infringement of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and will be subject to immediate legal enforcement.
If any court or competent authority determines that any provision of these Terms & Conditions (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The Company reserves the absolute right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect changes in relevant laws or regulatory requirements.
All delivery timeframes provided at checkout (e.g., 1-2 working days for standard services) are estimates provided by the third-party courier and do not constitute a legally binding guarantee of delivery on a specific date. The Company aims to dispatch all orders promptly; however, we accept no financial liability for delays caused entirely by the courier network. Next-day or expedited delivery services apply to the courier's transit time after the order has been processed and dispatched by our facility.
