Details

The NMB Minebea ARTL7E(R) is a three-piece stainless steel male rod end with a 7/16" bore and 7/16"-20 UNF left hand thread. The body is heat-treated 17-4 PH stainless steel, running a heat-treated CRES 410 stainless race against a heat-treated CRES 440C stainless ball. The maintenance-free PTFE fabric liner is bonded directly to the race inner diameter rather than pressed in, so it holds zero play without greasing and will not migrate under load. Static radial capacity is 53,370 N, with 10 degrees of misalignment available. Used on suspension components and linkages in Formula race cars, where load capacity, repeatable geometry and corrosion resistance all matter. Supplied as a single rod end with lock nut. The left hand thread is the opposite-handed partner to the standard right hand version. Fitting one of each to a link lets the assembly be lengthened or shortened by turning the tube alone, without unbolting either end — the usual way suspension and steering links are set up for adjustment.
